Environment Officer - 2 Posts at Uasin Gishu County Government

• Degree in Environmental Science or its equivalent from a recognized University.

• Supervise implementation of environmental projects and ensure timely delivery of service;
• Implement and evaluate departments environmental strategic plans, programs and activities at the sub -county;
• Represent the department at the sub -county forums;
• Ensure public participation in Government service delivery;
• Handle waste management and sanitation at the sub-county;
• Carry out environmental and social impact assessment for projects and supervise proposed environmental mitigation measures
• Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set target
