- Packaging Operations
- Oversee the entire packaging operations and floors, including filling, labeling, capping, and cartoning, and transfer all stocks to the warehouse on time, in full, and error-free.
- Coordinate with production to ensure timely liquid handovers and avoid bottlenecks. All product should be transferred to warehouse within the set timeline
- Ensure packaging is completed according to planned schedules and production priorities
- Primary packaging planner of all packaging materials on the packaging floor.
- Strictly ensure all packaging SOPs, workflows, and checklists are fully filled, signed, and executed.
- Strictly adhere to all respective regulatory standards within the packaging operations
- Enforce GMP, FSMS (ISO 22000), and food safety protocols on the packaging floor.
- Verify packaging quality, including fill levels, label placement, seal integrity, and coding accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory labeling requirements for domestic and export markets.
- Ensure packaging floor safety compliance and proper PPE usage.
- Report and address safety hazards promptly.
- Participate in safety audits and close out CAPAs.
- Packaging Equipment Management
- Ensure all packaging equipment is ready and operational in a timely fashion and ready before production shifts.
- Lead and be part of cleaning of all beverage lines within the shifts and ensure smooth handover in all shifts
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with Engineering.
- Supervise equipment changeovers, line startups, and shutdowns
- Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels of packaging materials to prevent shortages and leakage. ● Requisition packaging materials in a timely and accurate predefined format.
- Track material usage, yields, and wastage.
- Ensure correct segregation, storage, and labeling of packaging materials.
- Team Supervision and involved oversight
- Lead and Be actively part of the training of the packaging line operators and casual staff to deliver all the packaging KPIs and exceed company ambition
- Lead by example by attendance, performance, and adherence to SOPs and checklists of the entire team.

- Continuous Improvement
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Support new product launches with packaging line setup and trials.
- Reporting and Data Management
- Input and report all requisite post-blending reports, such as, but not limited to, packaging material usage, output, and stock holding in the packaging operations at any point in time
- Perform all requisite software system processes (on our ERP) to ensure accurate financial reporting in the prescribed formats.
- Be the primary data owner and data manager (including safekeeping) of all packaging operations reports and documents, including the source data sets.
- Monitor and report line efficiency, downtime, and OEE performance
- Diploma/degree in food science, industrial chemistry, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a beverage packaging role, preferably in FMCG or alcoholic beverage manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of packaging line operations, maintenance, and food safety standards.
- Proficient in production reporting, planning, and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
