Our client, in the financial sector, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented .The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, financial modeling, and analysis to support investment decisions across various asset classes. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and valuation techniques.Key Responsibilities;
Conduct fundamental research and analysis on companies, industries, and economic trends.
Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and industry data to identify investment risks and opportunities.
Monitor and assess current portfolio holdings and provide updates on performance and market conditions.
Stay up to date with market developments, geopolitical events, and other factors impacting investment decisions.
Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior analysts to develop investment theses.
Utilize data analytics tools and databases for research and analysis.
Prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and analyze capital markets, Nairobi securities exchange and global markets.
Produce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and yearly reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
2+ years of experience in investment research, equity analysis, or a related financial role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for financial markets.
