Job DescriptionDuties and responsibilities will entail:
  • Taking a medical history
  • Performing physical examination,
  • Ordering and interpret diagnostic tests,
  • Providing counselling and education
  • Prescriptions interpretation
  • Nursing procedures (dressing of wounds, injections and sterilization)
  • Accompanying a patient to hospital in emergency situations.
Personal SpecificationsFor appointment to the position of the registered nurse, a candidate must have:
  • Diploma in Registered Community Health Nurse or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • At least three (3) years relevant working experience
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Demonstrated results in work performance
  • Computer proficiency skills
  • Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
