- Commit to attend all days of training and data collection period.
- Obtain and document informed consent from study participants before the interviews.
- Conduct and record all interviews held with respondents using Survey CTO.
- Participate in daily debrief meetings.
- Be a custodian of the APHRC data collection equipment during field work.
- Observe safeguarding procedures throughout the data engagement.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
- KCSE certificate with a minimum of Grade C
- Proven experience in quantitative data collection and electronic data capture.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and report writing skills.
- Available to work full-time on the project for the duration of the study.
- Resident in one of the counties of Turkana.
- Fluent in both oral and written English and Swahili. Familiarity with local languages spoken in the target counties is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively and collaborate with a large research team.
- Availability should be immediate.
