- Work on the development, implementation, and coordination of the project's communication and visibility strategy as per DRC and EU communications and visibility guidelines;
- Regularly coordinate and host consortium communications meetings with the consortium partners’ focal points to stay informed about planned activities, upcoming events, and campaigns, and provide guidance and support as needed to coordinate and align the project's communication and visibility approaches with the programme implementation and reporting;
- Create content for the BORESHA-NABAD website and social media handles and ensure timely updates of the project news and activities across these platforms while ensuring compliance with the donor and DRC guidelines;
- Track media coverage opportunities and undertake regular media monitoring (on social and traditional media) for references to project activities;
- Develop and edit photos, videos, web articles, tweets, social media posts, press releases, and monthly newsletters with project colleagues and manage an editorial calendar for the proposed thematic contents as necessary;
- Work with the programme, M&E, and partnership coordinators to train field staff and local partners and develop easy-to-follow communication materials and templates;
- Provide technical support to the supply chain team in the procurement of communication materials and maintain an up to-date filing system for all communication materials, including photos and other contents;
- Help with programme and donor events, including developing communication and visibility materials for high level events in a short notice.

- University degree in communications, journalism, international relations, or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a similar role, or as a writer and context developer in communications for development, preferably in peacebuilding and livelihood programmes setting.
- Experience in communications strategy development and implementation in a consortium setting.
- Strong graphic design skills and ability to use all related Adobe and social media tools, Google Analytics, and content management systems.
- Photography and video editing skills is required.
- Excellent consortium coordination skills to effectively liaise with all project partners staff and external stakeholders involved in the project.
- Ability to develop communication and visibility materials for high-level events in a short notice.
- Ability to take the initiative to suggest creative solutions for social media platforms; Demonstrated experience to initiate and suggest creative solutions for social media platforms and maintain social media campaigns.
- Fluency in written and oral English is required ( to be tested)
- Familiarity and knowledge of cross-cultural dynamics in any of the program target locations.
