- The Human Resource Intern will support the HR team by handling administrative tasks, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing general assistance in HR functions. This position offers exposure to various aspects of Human Resource Management, including recruitment, onboarding, data entry.
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field. Experience supporting a workforce of over 100 employees is an added advantage.
- KCSE Grade B and above is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Professional attitude and a willingness to learn and try, compliance, and employee support.
- Assist in recruitment processes as guided by the HOD.
- Publish and update job advertisements on internal and external platforms.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Update internal databases with employee information (e.g., contact details, bank info).
- Respond to employee queries and direct them appropriately.
- Maintain and update staff noticeboards.
- Update weekly casual attendance records.
- Organize and maintain employee files, including applications and resumes.
- Perform data entry and maintain HR-related databases and documentation.
- Manage attendance and leave records.
- Provide administrative support across various HR functions as required.
