Capabilities & Insights Analyst – Social, Healthcare & Public Entities at McKinsey & Company

• Research and Analysis: Investigate key client questions by identifying, analysing, and synthesizing data and insights to support problem-solving efforts and targeted industry research.
• Healthcare Analytics: Use advanced analytics and data from healthcare providers to address critical client questions.
• Delivering Impactful Solutions: Present findings through McKinsey-standard deliverables, including models, presentations, and written communications, to help clients make informed decisions.
• Thought Partnership: Collaborate closely with consulting teams and clients, serving as a trusted thought partner to develop innovative solutions and drive sustainable change.
• Client Engagement: From time to time, work directly on client projects, which may involve traveling to client sites across Africa. These engagements will allow you to contribute to projects with a broader scope and amplify your impact across the region.
• Knowledge Development: Support the continuous improvement of McKinsey's knowledge assets by contributing to the development of new insights, tools, and methodologies

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bachelor of Science preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills (data modelling will be a core skill needed)
• 3+ years of working experience in healthcare topics, ideally with additional analytical experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Professional attitude and service orientation, team player
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings in a clear and compelling manner
• Willingness to engage in a wide variety of research topics, even beyond healthcare topics, to more general public and social sector work (economics, public policy etc.), within a highly demanding and results-oriented
