  • Sasapay are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Executive to spearhead growth initiatives, expand our customer base, and cultivate strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing sales, strengthening client relationships and delivering outstanding service while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation and Sales: Generate leads via networking, cold calling, email campaigns; conduct meetings, negotiate and close deals.
  • Product Sales: Identify and follow up on client/merchant acquisition opportunities (B2C, C2B, B2B).
  • Driving Revenue: Develop strategies to acquire new clients and expand market share.
  • Client Relationship Management & Customer Support: Build strong client relationships, address needs promptly, and provide excellent service and guidance.
  • Partnerships & Stakeholder Management: Establish partnerships and networks within the industry and related sectors.
  • Market Research & Risk and Compliance: Conduct market analysis, monitor sales activity, and work with Risk to mitigate commercial risks.
  • Collaboration, Coordination, Reporting: Align efforts with internal teams and report on business development, ROI, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales.
  • Experience with digital cash platforms, remittance companies and ideally, the banking or mobile money industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholder engagement ability.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends, client feedback and sales data.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
