- Degree in Human Resources or related is required
- Post Graduate degree in Business Commerce, Human Resources or Social Science is an advantage
- Required/mandatory: registration with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and possession of a valid annual Practising Certificate in accordance with the HRMP Act, 2012.
- Required/mandatory: CHRP-K qualification (or recognised equivalent certification) from HRMPEB.
- Master's Degree Human Resources is preferred
- Minimum 10 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years operating at senior management level.
- Demonstrated governance awareness and ability to discharge fiduciary responsibilities consistent with the Companies Act (2015), where applicable.
- Demonstrable and current knowledge of the Employment Act (2007), Labour Relations Act (2007), and Occupational Safety and Health Act (2007).
- Proven experience managing industrial relations in Kenya, including engagement with trade unions and collective bargaining processes.
- Working as a strategic partner to business leadership across the geography, including multiple portfolios and locations.
- Leadership experience within a multinational or matrix structure with the executive and senior management teams in a complex environment including alignment with global HR frameworks and international labour standards.
- Proven track record of driving people strategies n complex, dynamic organisations.
