Location: Gigiri, Hurlingham, Naivasha, Embakasi
Employment Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewOur client is seeking to hire a reliable and customer-focused M-Pesa Attendant to manage daily mobile money transactions at their outlets. The role requires a high level of integrity, accuracy, and excellent customer service skills to ensure smooth and secure handling of cash and electronic transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesM-Pesa Transactions & Cash HandlingPerform M-Pesa transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, and airtime purchases
Ensure accurate recording of all transactions and balances
Maintain sufficient float and cash levels at all times
Balance cash and M-Pesa float daily and report any discrepancies immediatelyCustomer ServiceServe customers professionally, courteously, and efficiently
Respond to customer inquiries regarding M-Pesa services and transactions
Resolve basic customer complaints or escalate issues where necessary
Build and maintain positive customer relationshipsCompliance & SecurityAdhere strictly to Safaricom M-Pesa operating procedures and compliance guidelines
Ensure proper KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures are followed
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and transaction data
Observe security procedures to prevent fraud, loss, or theftReporting & Record KeepingMaintain accurate transaction records and daily reconciliation reports
Prepare end-of-day summaries for review by the supervisor
Ensure proper filing of transaction-related documentationRequired Qualifications and ExperienceKCSE minimum grade C minus.
Prior experience as an M-Pesa Attendant or in a similar cash-handling role is an added advantage
Basic computer literacy
Strong numerical and record-keeping skills
Ability to work long hours, weekends, or shifts as requiredCore CompetenciesHigh integrity and honesty
Strong attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Trustworthy, reliable, and accountable
