- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly
- Support in the preparation of management reports and analysis
- Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims
- Issue and track client invoices; follow up on overdue accounts
- Manage petty cash and reimbursements
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring actual performance against budgets
- Highlight variances and support cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax laws (VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, etc.)
- Prepare necessary schedules and documentation for audits
- Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and taxation requirements
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Operations, and Marketing.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience (agency or SME background is an added advantage) and a strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Advanced MS Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Gross Salary of KES 90,000 per month
