Product Manager, Software at SunCulture Kenya Ltd

• Lead the development and execution of the software product strategy and roadmap in alignment with SunCulture’s overall business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to develop and launch high-quality software products that integrate seamlessly with our hardware solutions.
• Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and identify new software product opportunities across our target user base and markets.
• Manage the entire software product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch support
• Ensure software product quality and performance meet or exceed customer expectations and align with SunCulture’s brand promise.
• Work with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to source and integrate software components and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to ensure our software products remain innovative and relevant.

• You are a hands-on leader with a strong blend of business and technical acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to execute tactically.
• You have a passion for creating impactful software solutions, particularly in markets like Sub-Saharan Africa.
• You have experience in product management, particularly in software development, with a preference for those who have worked on integrated hardware and software solutions.
• You’re entrepreneurial, self-driven, and demonstrate strong ownership of your projects.
• You are a confident and competent leader, with a proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
• You have excellent communication skills across various mediums.
• You can switch between creative and analytical thinking to achieve the best results.
• You have a strong understanding of the technical architecture of complex software applications, including web and/or mobile platforms.
