- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance department including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll and utilities, budgeting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, and capital assets reconciliations.
- Manage all accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
- Prepare budget forecasts and monitor financial performance against budgets.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure timely bank payments and manage payroll processing for the manufacturing staff.
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure prompt payment and reporting.
- Perform cost accounting tasks; including variance analysis and cost of goods sold calculations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform margin analysis, and recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Maintain internal financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reports.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for annual audits and compliance matters.
- Support management with financial analysis and guidance on profitability, cost reduction, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and cost analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA K.
- Over 5 years' experience as an Accountant, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
- Experience managing a team is a Must.
- Experience with accounting software (SAGE Evolution or Pastel).
- Import and Export Costing Accounts.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
