We are hiring for a PROJECT SITE SUPERVISOR to be located in various sites within Kenya.Job Purpose: Reporting to the Managing Director, the job holder will oversee house building projects, maintain safety protocols and implement site procedures ensuring all projects are completed on time, quality and within budgets.Description
  • Provide full time on-site supervision
  • Ensure all assigned house building projects are executed to the highest quality standards possible in line with company quality policy.
  • Ensuring that construction work schedules are maintained
  • Communicate scope of work requirements to the Managing Director
  • Review production, quality and contract compliance and ensure implementation
  • Schedule, monitor, supervise and track all subcontractors’ work quality and production levels to ensure the highest standards are achieved
  • Quantify and track all materials inclusive of ordering, inspecting and verifying shipments from suppliers
  • Correspond with consultants and Clients Project Managers regarding all contract discrepancies or adjustments as required.
  • Communicate and administer all Safety policies and conduct site safety meetings
  • Resolve day to day field personnel issues and provide incident reports for head office files
  • Provide for site safety and security; devise and implement site policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company or government regulations; ensure compliance with contracted service level agreements (SLAs); maintain up-to-date national/county licensing.
  • Ensure successful closure of all projects assigned and get sign off from clients/consultants.
  • Effectively represent the Director/s in site meetings when necessary.
Education
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a relevant field
More Details on Experience
  • At least 3 years’ hands on experience in the construction industry especially in interior fit out works
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and make reports
  • High level of Computer literacy
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili
