We value open communication, information sharing and inclusive decision making.Human Resources AssistantAs a Human Resources Assistant, you will provide vital administrative and operational support to the HR function, working at the heart of a dynamic, tech-driven consulting firm. This is not a back-office role. You will be part of the engine room shaping our culture, talent, and capability growth every single day. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, people-focused individual who is eager to grow - someone who thrives in complexity and moves with purpose.Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
  • Assist in the onboarding and induction of new employees, ensuring a smooth start.
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Support payroll preparation by compiling data on absences, bonuses, and leave balances.
  • Track attendance and manage staff leave calendars.
  • Organize HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare HR documents (employment contracts, policies, reports, compliance files).
  • Respond to HR queries from employees and stakeholders, escalating when necessary.
  • Assist in the administration of performance review processes.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Provide general administrative support e.g filing, data entry, scanning, correspondence handling any other duties assigned by line manager.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a fast-paced consulting or professional services environment.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution (e.g., CHRM).
  • Certified Human Resource Professional - CHRP-K (completed or actively pursuing).
  • Active IHRM membership in good standing.
  • Experience working in a consulting, audit, legal, or professional services firm.
  • Practical knowledge of Kenyan Labour Laws, statutory deductions (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE), and compliance requirements.
