- The Kenya Paediatric Research Consortium (KEPRECON), in partnership with the Nairobi County Department of Health, is recruiting 9 Study Nurses for the IMPROVECare Study-a pioneering project piloting AI-enhanced CTG monitoring and cord blood lactate testing to improve maternal and newborn outcomes in low-resource maternity settings.
- Kenya Registered Midwife (KRM)
- Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife (KRN/M)
- Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) with strong maternity experience
- Higher Diploma in Midwifery and Reproductive Health
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) license
- 1-3 years of experience in clinical research (including participant recruitment and data collection)
- Experience in labour wards or maternal/newborn health programs
- Familiarity with REDCap or similar electronic data tools
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights
- Participant screening, consenting, CTG monitoring, and sample collection
- Conducting cord blood lactate testing
- Data entry into REDCap and CRF documentation
- Reporting adverse events and ensuring protocol compliance
- Working collaboratively with maternity staff and research teams
