- Being the contact point for the guests during their stay at Arijiju and communicating logisitics/plans with the rest of the team.
- Taking all plans and wake up calls for the guests and communicating this with the team. Co-ordinating logistics between activities and guest movements with the rest of the team.
- End of month stock take and inventory management as well as compiling and sending weekly shopping orders.
- Ensure front of house teams all work together and in sync to provide the best possible service to guests.
- Discretion and respect for guest privacy
- Working well with general managers and supporting them in what tasks they need.
- Daily property checks from rooms and general house cleanliness. As well as ensuring each department is doing what's required to keep the property to the highest standard.
- Supports staff results by communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring, of SOP's
- Aid in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards set by the GM’s
- Communicating any maintenance issues, breakages, etc to GM's to ensure any issues are dealt with.
- Bachelor degree or Diploma from a reputable institution
- At least 5 years of experience in a 5 star lodge in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English both orally and in writing
- Team Player – must be willing to teach and help in all departments.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in high stress environments
- Proven experience of hosting Hosting Skills guests from all over the world.
- Being able to deal with high profile clients and their needs.
- General Computer skills are needed and being able to work on Excel and word are a must.
