- Architect Data Models: Design and refine conceptual, logical, and physical data models tailored for media and advertising use cases (e.g., impression tracking, campaign analytics, audience segmentation).
- Lead Data Strategy: Define and implement end-to-end data architecture strategies, ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Build Data Pipelines: Own the development and maintenance of efficient, high-throughput data pipelines powering both real-time streaming and batch analytics.
- Optimize Performance: Conduct rigorous system testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement by adopting the latest data innovations.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to support personalization, audience intelligence, and dynamic reporting initiatives.
- Stay Ahead: Explore, evaluate, and integrate modern data technologies released within the last 2-3 years, ensuring our platforms remain industry-leading.
- 10+ years in data architecture and modeling, with expertise in relational and distributed data systems.
- 3+ years managing big data environments (100TB+), ideally in media, advertising, or marketing technology.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and ERD modeling.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer).
- Proven expertise with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation.
- Familiarity with BI & reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
- Deep understanding of data lakes, warehouses, and large-scale architectures for high-throughput environments.
- Strong knowledge of data mining, segmentation, and programmatic advertising datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to design, optimize, and maintain pipelines for complex ad tech/media datasets.
- Knowledge of modern data technologies (released in the last 2-3 years), and a drive to apply them in production environments.
