- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures across multiple services.
- Lead the development and maintenance of backend systems using Java (5+ years of experience) and other relevant technologies.
- Oversee web development initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and optimal user experience.
- Apply IT best practices in development, deployment, documentation, and change management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the reliability and performance of customer-facing and internal systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, driving adherence to coding standards and agile methodologies.
- Support and enhance VAS platforms and call center technologies, ensuring availability and effective operation.
- Monitor system health, conduct regular reviews, and proactively address potential issues or incidents for critical platforms including Bulk SMS, SMS services, web applications, and cloud infrastructure.
- System Architecture: Design and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures.
- Performance & Optimization: Ensure high uptime, optimize existing systems, and maintain fast, reliable service.
- Code & Delivery: Deliver clean, maintainable code and meet release timelines. ξΆ· Team Leadership: Mentor the team and enforce best practices in design and development.
- Compliance: Align systems with IT governance, security, and data protection standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years professional experience in Java development, including API design, concurrency, and performance tuning.
- Strong hands-on with web technologies: RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, modern frameworks, and API security patterns.
- Proven experience designing scalable system architectures and integrating with carrier-grade services.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), infrastructure as code, and cloud-native patterns.
- Familiarity with VAS platforms and call center solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and stakeholder management.
