- In charge of overseeing designated territories in Poa Internet’s Agency Business model. Manage a team of Trade Development Representatives to exceed business targets through customer acquisition, improving team productivity, and optimizing commission-sales agent onboarding for better efficiency.
- Responsible for managing a team of 7-12 Trade Development Representatives in the respective territory, overseeing up to 350 indirect active sales agents.
- Sales Growth & Market Expansion: Drive consistent achievement of progressive monthly sales targets, including expanding market reach and deepening penetration within the assigned territory.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing team of Trade Development Representatives (TDRs) and commission-only sales agents in line with the approved manpower plan. Conduct weekly training sessions for new and existing agents.
- Performance Management & Training: Conduct regular performance analysis to identify skill gaps and lead the design and delivery of targeted training programs that equip your team with the tools needed to succeed. Provide ongoing coaching, implement performance improvement plans for underperformers, and recognize top performers to sustain motivation and productivity.
- Customer-Centric Selling, Market Adaptability & Retention: Champion a customer-first sales approach, equipping teams with strong product knowledge and adaptability to market shifts. Collaborate to reduce churn through proactive feedback analysis and targeted retention efforts.
- Operational Leadership & Reporting: Oversee daily operations by planning field routes, hosting weekly and monthly sales meetings, tracking team performance through reports, and taking corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement monthly marketing calendars, manage campaign budgets, and evaluate ROI to maximize impact in your territory.
- Culture & Customer Focus: Promote a respectful, inclusive work environment that values diversity, fosters collaboration, and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage people dynamics in a high pressure operation and lead to achieve the best performance possible from the team.
- Ability to develop and implement new strategies, build high performing teams while implementing management routines geared for sales growth.
- History of managing exceptional high performing commission only sales teams and demonstrable experience in growing and developing them.
- History in managing customer relation activities, including statistical reports, sales performance reports, and data essential to maintain KPI measurements to track territory Sales team performance.
- Have exceptional interpersonal skills capable of influencing and delivering results in a highly cross-functional role plus excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Willing and able to get down and grubby on the ground in the areas we operate. Tactical, scrappy, relentless
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- The managerial position necessitates a minimum of 4 years’ background in sales and sales management, including demonstrated expertise in overseeing a commission-only agent business model at a managerial level
