This year marked the beginning of our jo…Retail Development CoordinatorAbout the RoleThe Retail Development Coordinator is responsible for retail network expansion and optimization through identification and acquisition of potential sites for development of new stations and implementation of company's national network development strategic plan.Key Duties
  • Identify sites with good potential and anticipated profitability for acquisition.
  • Prospect for suitable existing independent/competitor stations for conversion and branding.
  • Lead site acquisitions, lease negotiations and regulatory approvals.
  • Develop and maintain a retail expansion master plan for network growth.
  • Carry out preliminary studies and evaluate the potential of identified sites.
  • Develop pre and post investment analysis of potential and acquired sites.
  • Negotiate with landlords and service station owners on acquisition, leasing, branding and supply arrangements.
  • Manage rental arrangements.
  • Maintain a register of leases, council rates and land rates and ensure timely payment.
  • Prospect and maintain a land banks registry for future developments
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in retail development, preferably in Oil & Gas.
  • Strong knowledge of the retail business and network spread.
  • Proven analytical and financial skills.
  • Proactive and self-driven with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across regions.
