Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
Record journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding payments.

Bank Reconciliation:

Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow and bank transactions.

Tax Compliance:

Prepare and file statutory returns (e.g., VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, and corporate tax) in accordance with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) requirements.
Keep updated on changes in tax regulations.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements).
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Audit and Internal Controls:

Support internal and external audit processes.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Payroll Processing
Prepare payroll and ensure accurate deductions and statutory contributions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification - at least CPA Part II or fully qualified.
2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Kenyan organization.
Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP).
Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory compliance.

Minimum requirements

Diploma/Degree in Tour Operations/Tourism & Hospitality Management/Customer Service/PR
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Tour operator/Hospitality industry.
Must be a fluent German-speaker or any other foreign language skills will also be considered.
Strong customer service and excellent inter-personal skills across all levels
Excellent time management & problem-solving ability
Self-confidence, pleasant, outgoing nature, and good grooming
Excellent oral & written communication skills.
Knowledge of the Mombasa geographical routings, hotels, and restaurants.
Flexibility and willingness to work long, irregular hours.
