Collection Officer Job Forty Nine

- Follow up with clients on overdue loan repayments through calls, visits, and reminders.
- Negotiate and agree on repayment plans with clients in arrears.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and update loan accounts regularly.
- Monitor assigned loan portfolio to identify potential repayment risks.
- Work closely with Branch Managers and the credit team to reduce non-performing loans.
- Ensure all collections are conducted in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly collection reports.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in collections, microfinance, or lending institution issuing business loans is an added advantage.
- Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related areas.
