Collection Officer Job Forty Nine

• Follow up with clients on overdue loan repayments through calls, visits, and reminders.
• Negotiate and agree on repayment plans with clients in arrears.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and update loan accounts regularly.
• Monitor assigned loan portfolio to identify potential repayment risks.
• Work closely with Branch Managers and the credit team to reduce non-performing loans.
• Ensure all collections are conducted in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly collection reports.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in collections, microfinance, or lending institution issuing business loans is an added advantage.
• Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related areas.
