project titled 'ENabling Girls in AI and Growing Expertise (ENGAGE) that has established a public
health-focused machine learning training program for girls and young women to reduce the
gender-based gaps and biases in data science and help strengthen the leadership pipeline and
impact of women to improve health in their communities.The Position:This is a full-time position based in Nairobi.Duties and Responsibilities:The driver will facilitate travel for various project activities in six (6) regions;(i) Ensure the assigned project vehicle is well maintained
(ii) Ensure adherence to the motor vehicle use policy
(iii) Maintain vehicle logs, including fuel, mileage, and service records
(iv) Any other duties assigned by the Principal InvestigatorJob Specifications:(i)
At least KCSE certificate or an equivalent qualification
(ii)
Must have a valid driving license, class BCE
(iii)
Must have a valid certificate of good conduct
(iv)
Have at least five (5) years' experience driving in a Public Institution(s) and/or donor
funded programs.
(v)
PSV certificate will be an added advantage.Terms of appointment:
This is a position whose tenure is one (1) year contract renewable based on performance and by
mutual consent. The salary is negotiable depending on the level of education and work
experience.
