- Develop and implement a comprehensive GBV Action Plan aligned with World Bank ESF requirements.
- Conduct ongoing GBV risk assessments and maintain an up-to-date risk register.
- Ensure confidential GBV reporting mechanisms are accessible to all project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local service providers and NGOs to facilitate referral pathways for GBV survivors.
- Monitor sub-contractor compliance with GBV-related contractual obligations and training.
- Lead implementation of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP), ensuring meaningful consultation with vulnerable groups.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to labor influx, including potential social tensions and health risks.
- Lead grievance redress mechanisms (GRM), ensuring they are gender-sensitive and widely publicized.
- Build capacity of contractors, project staff, and local partners on GBV prevention and response and social safeguards.
- Establish and maintain systems for tracking social and GBV indicators, conducting regular monitoring and reporting.
- Relevant academic qualification (e.g., in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Gender Studies).
- Proven experience in GBV risk mitigation and response in development or humanitarian contexts.
- Experience in social safeguards implementation (e.g., World Bank ESF, IFC Performance Standards).
- Demonstrated expertise in community engagement and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for social indicators.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
