- Drive yield optimization through static and dynamic pricing strategies in collaboration with Revenue Management, ensuring rate parity across all channels.
- Control and allocate inventory for groups, weddings, and corporate retreats to maximize occupancy and ADR.
- Monitor market and competitor performance using tools such as STR and Lighthouse to adjust positioning in real time.
- Lead, mentor, and upskill centralized and remote reservations teams, embedding a “sales-through-service” culture.
- Implement and optimize digital solutions including PMS platforms and AI chatbots to improve efficiency and guest response times.
- Define and track KPIs focused on conversion, upselling, and overall revenue contribution.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key trade partners, while personally overseeing VIP and high-security bookings.
- Produce revenue forecasts and pickup reports, while developing and auditing SOPs to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years in senior reservations roles, including at least 2 years at multi-property or group level.
- Strong regional expertise in the East African tourism circuit (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda), with Safari Lodge experience highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in PMS (Res Request or Opera), CRS, and Channel Managers (e.g. SiteMinder), with exposure to AI-driven booking tools.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to convert complex data into effective sales and revenue strategies.
- High cultural intelligence and proven experience managing diverse, multi-national teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with Swahili as a strong advantage.
- Inspect incoming berries and monitor grading, sorting, packing, and cold chain processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct final product quality checks before dispatch to ensure customer and export specifications are met.
- Implement and monitor food safety and quality systems in line with GLOBALG.A.P., BRC, SMETA, HACCP, and customer requirements.
- Ensure packhouse hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards are consistently maintained.
- Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation, and support internal and external audits.
- Train packhouse staff on quality standards, hygiene, and proper handling practices, and work with operational teams to resolve quality issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality control within a fresh produce or soft fruit packhouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including GLOBALG.A.P., BRC, SMETA, and HACCP.
- Experience handling highly perishable products, particularly berries or similar fresh produce.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Oversee day-to-day serviced apartment operations to ensure smooth service delivery and an excellent guest experience from check-in to checkout.
- Supervise housekeeping and caretaker teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and overall property presentation.
- Manage guest relations, handle complaints professionally, and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and positive reviews.
- Manage apartment inventory, availability, and pricing across travel platforms to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Monitor market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing, applying data-driven pricing and revenue optimization strategies.
- Oversee digital presence including travel platform listings, social media platforms, and online guest reviews to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.
- Ensure accurate use of the Property Management System (PMS) for bookings, reporting, reconciliations, and operational tracking, while supporting management reports.
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Property Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in serviced apartments, hospitality operations, or a similar supervisory role.
- Hands-on experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) (experience with multiple systems is an advantage).
- Strong background in guest services, operations supervision, and team leadership.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD tools and processes for software delivery.
- Integrate security practices into the DevOps process, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with the IT team on non-functional requirements such as availability and performance.
- Remediate vulnerabilities and apply patches to improve system security.
- Automate security testing and vulnerability management processes.
- Implement security monitoring tools in collaboration with the Cybersecurity team.
- Monitor and log performance and health of services and infrastructure.
- Identify and address issues in the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of CI/CD processes and policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
- Proficiency in scripting and coding (Python, JavaScript, React.js).
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, etc.).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent understanding of cybersecurity principles.
