These language groups are isolated by harsh climate and rough terrain; many of them are limited in the areas of education and…IT OfficerReporting to the ICT Administrator, the IT Officer will assist in providing first-line ICT support to staff, managing day-to-day ICT issues, and supporting system users to ensure the optimal functioning of ICT tools and services.Duties and responsibilities:

Provide help desk support (hardware/software/network).
Install and configure workstations, printers, security surveillance system and mobile devices.
Assist with data backups, antivirus updates, and IT maintenance.
Maintain user accounts and access controls.
Support online meetings and audio-visual setups.
Maintain IT records.
Preventive maintenance of all equipment.
Advocate for user policy compliance.
Conduct user training.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals.
CNA, MCSA, Linux+, or equivalent certifications. Certification in cybersecurity or networking is an added advantage.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar ICT role.
Self-motivated, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
