- Define and execute the People Growth & Belonging strategy, aligning with Wikimedia's mission and organizational priorities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop part of the PGB team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Oversee the Engagement & Inclusion Survey, ensuring data informs people strategies.
- Drive evidence-based DEI strategy and oversee key initiatives, including constructive dialogue spaces, racial equity commitments, and global inclusion efforts.
- Support and advise Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Champion inclusive leadership development, equipping managers with tools to foster anti-discrimination and equity in decision-making.
- Oversee some L&D programmes, ensuring access to upskilling and career development opportunities.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Internal Communications, Recruiting, and People Ops to embed DEI and L&D principles into talent acquisition, management, onboarding, and engagement strategies.
- Develop methods to assess impact for DEI and L&D initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the VP, People Growth & Belonging, contributing to organisational development.
- 8+ years of experience in DEI, Learning & Development, organisational development, or talent strategy.
- Proven leadership in DEI strategy design and implementation, with a track record of influencing organisational culture.
- Expertise in learning programme design, instructional methodologies, and leadership development.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly in mission-driven, global organisations.
- Experience coaching and managing multicultural teams.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on programme execution.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and data-driven approaches to measuring impact.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to craft compelling narratives and build consensus.
- Commitment to Wikimedia's values and the free knowledge movement.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
