  • As an SEO Specialist at Yellow Pages, you will be responsible for executing strategic SEO campaigns for clients across diverse industries. Your role will involve technical SEO audits, content optimization, keyword research, and performance tracking to boost organic traffic and improve client visibility on search engines, particularly for Yellow Pages' digital products like SEO Services, Yellow Connect, and other SEO requirements as guided.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years' experience in SEO or digital marketing, preferably in an agency or media company
  • Strong understanding of Google algorithms, search engine ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for SEO implementation) is a must.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Duda, Shopify, or Webflow.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Digital Marketing
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with content marketing and copywriting.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and PPC campaigns (not mandatory but beneficial).
  • Familiarity with AI tools for SEO and content optimization.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers, designers, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:SEO Strategy & Implementation
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website visibility.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value search terms and optimize content accordingly.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices to enhance site performance.
Technical SEO & Website Optimization
  • Conduct website audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues (broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content, page speed, etc.).
  • Work with developers to ensure SEO-friendly website structure, schema markup, and mobile optimization.
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals and page load speed for better user experience.
Content Optimization & Keyword Management
  • Collaborate with content creators to optimize web pages, blogs, and landing pages for search engines.
  • Ensure content is keyword-optimized while maintaining readability and engagement.
  • Develop a content strategy aligned with SEO best practices.
Link Building & Off-Page SEO
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
  • Conduct competitor backlink analysis and identify new link opportunities.
  • Build relationships with bloggers, publishers, and influencers to enhance off-page SEO.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or other SEO tools.
  • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR, bounce rates, and conversions.
  • Provide detailed reports on SEO performance and recommend improvements.
Local SEO (If applicable)
  • Optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles and local citations. • Implement local SEO strategies to increase visibility for location-based searches.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews to improve brand reputation.
