
Field Sales Executive

- Build and manage a territory plan targeting developers, contractors, architects, QS firms, and premium retail clients.
- Source opportunities through outbound outreach (calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, referrals, expos, site walk-ins, and partner networks).
- Maintain at least 34× pipeline coverage vs. monthly quota, ensuring accurate CRM updates.
- Conduct site and office meetings to assess requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Recommend tailored solutions including product systems, colours, glass types, and add-ons.
- Coordinate technical surveys with Estimations/Operations and interpret BOQs/drawings.
- Manage the quotation process end-to-end with accuracy and speed.
- Present proposals, handle objections, and negotiate within defined guardrails to protect margin.
- Deploy effective closing techniques to secure signed contracts, deposits, and timely approvals.
- Handover confirmed projects to Operations while staying engaged for variations and upselling.
- Expand wallet share with existing clients through referrals and repeat business.
- Monitor competitor activity on specs, pricing, and lead times; share insights to influence strategy.
- Keep CRM fully updated with contacts, notes, files, pipeline stages, and close dates.
- Submit accurate forecasts and activity reports weekly.
- Participate in pipeline reviews, win/loss analysis, and sales meetings.
- 3-5 years proven sales closing experience in building materials, construction, interiors or fenestration.
- Consistent top-quartile performer with documented win rates of 30% on qualified opportunities.
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings/BOQs and communicate effectively with architects, QS, and contractors.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills in English & Swahili.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Workspace, and WhatsApp Business.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Experience with aluminium window/door systems, curtain walls, shower cubicles, or balustrades.
- Existing networks with developers, contractors, or architects.
- Knowledge of quality/warranty considerations and site compliance requirements.
