PAC (Pan Africa Christian) University, a Chartered Private University, is seeking to fill the positions outlined below from suitable candidates. Applicants must be born again Christians and active members of a local Church.Assistant LibrarianJob Purpose:
  • To provide library administrative and technical support as well as security of library resources.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Library and Information Science or related field.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience at the University level.
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the operations of the library circulation and technical services staff.
  • Responsible for all cataloging functions in the library.
  • Maintain statistics and prepare reports related to cataloging and processing of materials.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of bibliographic and authority records on the online catalog.
  • Collaborate with other library staff members in developing online learning tools to promote information literacy skills
TVET Trainers – Business DepartmentJob Purpose:
  • To provide competence-based training in diploma [level 6] and certificate [level 5] designed to develop relevant and highly marketable graduates in today's competitive job market
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Computer Science, Counselling Psychology or related field.
  • At least two (2) years of professional experience preferably in a TVETA college.
  • TVETA Training Certification
  • Trainer Qualifications (Preferably from KSTVET) will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • In depth knowledge of the tertiary training structure and CBET
  • Exposure to TVET CDACC.
Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct trainees in the specific course(s)/units in adherence to the respective curriculum and occupational standards;
  • Plan, conduct and assess practicals in the course units assigned;
  • Prepare internal assessments, mark, grade, conduct validation and moderation;
  • Supervise and assess trainee(s) in the course area and during industrial attachment;
  • Maintaining appropriate records required by TVETA and TVET CDACC or any other
  • relevant body including learning, session plans, training notes and records of work;
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the Coordinator or Director
