Since 1958, we have been a catalyst for community-led initiatives that promote sustainable change and advance solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.Pedagogical ExpertPosition DescriptionEducation Development Center (EDC) is seeking Pedagogical Experts (4) to support the design and development of instructional materials, training curricula, and digital learning content aligned with competency-based education and training (CBET) principles for the TVET system. They will help integrate effective teaching methodologies and Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-enabled approaches into training delivery, ensuring that learning materials, assessments, and instructional strategies support modern, inclusive, and technology-enhanced vocational education.This is a part-time consultancy (level of effort is 48 weeks), and it is contingent upon award by the donor.Candidates shall have at a minimum the following qualifications:QualificationsEducation:
  • A minimum of Master's Degree in Computer science or related field, Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, Technical Education or related field.
  • Accreditation as a curriculum developer/assessor.
  • Recognized Trainer of Trainer (ToT) certification in CBET framework.
Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years in design and development of instructional materials including curriculum delivery method plans, assessments and digital content for multimodal delivery method.
  • A minimum of three years in CBET alignment and implementation, curriculum design and ICT integration in Education.
