- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to recipes and standards.
- Follow instructions from senior chefs to ensure efficient food production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, tools, and storage areas.
- Ensure all food preparation and handling meets hygiene and safety standards.
- Support in receiving and properly storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Minimize waste through proper portion control and usage of ingredients.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment with effective communication and teamwork.
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is an added advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and culinary techniques.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong sense of hygiene and attention to detail.
