
IT Manager at Accor

- Lead the development and execution of the hotel’s IT plan in alignment with Accor’s policies.
- Build strong relationships with Hotel GMs, EXCOM, HODs, and other key stakeholders to support operational needs.
- Provide regular status reports on IT operations to the General Manager and regional IT leadership.
- Identify IT-related risks and engage Hotel Management and the regional team to ensure timely mitigation, including PCI compliance.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
- Ensure use of approved Accor hardware partners for all IT hardware needs.
- Maintain hardware including computers, servers, routers, switches, POS devices, PABX, screens, UPS, and cabling.
- Escalate unresolved hardware issues through appropriate channels to ensure minimal downtime.
- Enforce usage of only original, licensed, and approved software across all hotel systems.
- Ensure compliance with Accor's IT policies, licensing, and security standards.
- Coordinate support with software vendors and escalate issues as needed.
- Monitor and control system access; ensure users only access systems required for their job function.
- Coordinate with the Training Department to deliver ongoing user training on essential software functions.
- Support staff in their day-to-day IT needs to enhance efficiency and system utilization.
- Enforce adherence to Accor’s IT Security and Data Protection Policies.
- Ensure regular and reliable backups of all user-generated and system-critical data.
- Manage system integrity and protect against unauthorized access or data loss.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget in consultation with Finance and the General Manager.
- Lead IT projects from initiation through execution, including upgrades, installations, and migrations.
- Support the approval process for IT expenditures with sound business justifications.
- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in a luxury or upscale hotel environment, with at least 2 years in a similar leadership role.
- Experience with network infrastructure, server maintenance, cloud systems, and data security.
- Proven ability to lead IT projects, manage vendors and budgets, and support end-users across multiple departments.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to address challenges proactively and effectively.
- Experience working with multinational teams and regional/global IT support structures is an added advantage.
