We are passionate about helping businesses scale by connecting them with the most important resource for growth, people.Project Finance ManagerInuka is working with a leading renewable energy company to bring on a Project Finance Manager to oversee the financial structuring, funding, and commercial management of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project finance within the energy or infrastructure sectors and a proven track record of leading complex transactions to financial close.Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial modelling, structuring, and negotiation for renewable energy projects.
  • Manage the financing process from inception to financial close, liaising with lenders, investors, and advisors.
  • Oversee due diligence activities, coordinating legal, technical, and financial inputs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project financing.
  • Prepare investment proposals, presentations, and internal approval documentation.
  • Support commercial contract negotiations, including PPAs, EPC, and O&M agreements.
  • Monitor project financial performance and ensure compliance with financing agreements.
  • Provide strategic input on project pipeline development from a financial perspective.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • 8-12 years' experience in project finance, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or power sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in securing debt and equity financing for large-scale projects.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (advanced Excel proficiency required).
  • Experience negotiating with DFIs, commercial banks, and equity partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
