- Lead financial modelling, structuring, and negotiation for renewable energy projects.
- Manage the financing process from inception to financial close, liaising with lenders, investors, and advisors.
- Oversee due diligence activities, coordinating legal, technical, and financial inputs.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project financing.
- Prepare investment proposals, presentations, and internal approval documentation.
- Support commercial contract negotiations, including PPAs, EPC, and O&M agreements.
- Monitor project financial performance and ensure compliance with financing agreements.
- Provide strategic input on project pipeline development from a financial perspective.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 8-12 years' experience in project finance, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or power sectors.
- Demonstrated success in securing debt and equity financing for large-scale projects.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (advanced Excel proficiency required).
- Experience negotiating with DFIs, commercial banks, and equity partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
