- Supervise and coordinate all instrumentation and control activities across multiple projects.
- Review and approve designs, engineering plans, installation drawings, and commissioning documentation.
- Ensure effective coordination between instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines.
- Oversee the integration of Radar-Based Hybrid Tank Farm Management Systems (TFMS), Terminal Automation Solutions (TAS), and Custody Transfer Metering Systems.
- Lead the design and development of instrumentation systems, selecting appropriate instruments based on project needs.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and start-up of Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) systems, radar level gauges, temperature probes, and related control devices.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal system performance during all project stages.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
- Facilitate skills development, knowledge transfer, and professional growth of junior staff.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (IEC, ISO, API) and client specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on design, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Enforce compliance with HSE policies, site safety protocols, and internal quality management systems.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and resolve site issues promptly.
- Review supplier documentation for compliance and quality.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and milestones for instrumentation scope.
- Prepare regular progress, risk, and status reports for stakeholders.
- Recommend mitigation strategies for delays or technical challenges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all instrumentation-related matters.
- Attend client and project meetings, providing technical clarifications.
- Conduct client training, system handover, and post-installation support.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures for instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure continuous improvement of system performance and reliability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications or training in instrumentation, PLC programming, or automation systems preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in industrial sectors such as Power, FMCG, or Oil & Gas.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation, control systems, and industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to interpret and review engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
