We empower companies to increase revenue, close more deals, and scale with confidence.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Team Lead- FMCG to manage a sales team, drive sales performance, achieve targets, and develop the team into high-performing sales professionals. The role involves hands-on selling, team leadership, training, recruitment, and performance management.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development:
  • Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
Team Management:
  • Manage, motivate, and lead a sales team to deliver consistent results
  • Set individual targets and KPIs for team members
  • Conduct regular field visits, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Ensure discipline, productivity, and effective route planning
Sales Training & Development:
  • Deliver structured sales training programs
  • Coach team members on selling skills, product knowledge, and negotiation
  • Identify skill gaps and create improvement plans
  • Act as a Trainer, upgrading the team's overall effectiveness
Recruitment & Hiring:
  • Interview, shortlist, and select sales executives
  • Support onboarding and induction of new hires
  • Build a strong, capable sales team aligned with company culture
Reporting & Administration:
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
  • Track target achievement, incentives, and team performance
Qualifications
  • 5 years of demonstrated team leadership/management exposure
  • Strong FMCG sales and distribution knowledge
  • Proven ability to manage and develop sales teams
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience in training and coaching sales staff
  • Target-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Leadership mindset with hands-on field experience
