- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall beauty strategy aligned with the organization’s retail goals and customer trends.
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities across the beauty category (skincare, cosmetics, fragrances, haircare, personal care, etc.).
- Lead new product development and brand acquisition strategies.
- Category & Product Management
- Curate a competitive and diverse range of beauty products and brands tailored to target customer segments.
- Drive category performance through assortment planning, pricing, merchandising, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor SKU performance and ensure rationalization based on data and trends.
- Sales & Marketing
- Collaborate with marketing teams to drive product launches, in-store promotions, and digital campaigns.
- Oversee visual merchandising standards across stores to align with brand image and enhance shopper experience.
- Drive eCommerce growth for the beauty category by coordinating with the digital team.
- Supplier & Brand Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with beauty suppliers, distributors, and global/local brands.
- Negotiate trading terms, promotional deals, and exclusivity opportunities.
- Ensure timely product availability, marketing support, and vendor compliance.
- Team Management
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of category managers, beauty consultants, and trainers.
- Conduct performance reviews, capability building, and succession planning within the team.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Track category KPIs including sales, margin, stock health, and customer insights.
- Provide monthly and quarterly performance reports to management, with actionable recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- Experience in a similar leadership role within the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG retail space.
- Proven track record in category management, vendor negotiations, and delivering sales growth.
- Strong commercial acumen and customer insight.
- Experience managing a multi-location team and working in cross-functional environments.
- Knowledge of market trends, new product development, and beauty innovations.
