- Prepare job descriptions, post openings, and screen candidates.
- Coordinate interview schedules and maintain communication with candidates.
- Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
- Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment campaigns.
- Coordinate and execute a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
- Prepare employment documentation, including contracts and statutory forms.
- Facilitate employee induction sessions on policies, procedures, and culture.
- Ensure workstation readiness and issue necessary equipment.
- Track onboarding progress and gather feedback to improve the process.
- Manage end-to-end visa and work permit processes for expatriates.
- Liaise with immigration authorities, legal counsel, and agents for timely and compliant processing.
- Monitor visa renewals and proactively manage extensions.
- Advise employees on immigration requirements and timelines.
- Maintain accurate visa and immigration records and ensure compliance.
- Support relocation logistics where applicable.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Draft and issue employment letters, contracts, and other HR documentation.
- Manage leave records and other time-off tracking.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory HR requirements.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate data updates.
- Administer statutory deductions and employee benefits (health, NSSF, NHIF, etc.).
- Address employee queries related to compensation and benefits.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR policy and procedure inquiries.
- Support initiatives promoting a healthy and inclusive workplace.
- Assist in planning and executing team-building, wellness, and engagement activities.
- Handle routine employee relations matters and disciplinary support.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes.
- Support implementation of performance management cycles.
- Track probation reviews, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
- Assist in coordinating employee training, development plans, and skills mapping.
- Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and communicated across the company.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and metrics for management.
- Support HR audits and ensure compliance with labor laws and data confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CIPD, SHRM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in handling immigration processes and expatriate management is an advantage.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
