Greenlight Planet is on a mission to revolutionize rural energy access for the 1.5 billion off-grid villagers who use dirty, dangerous kerosene lanterns for light. In four years we’ve sold 1.6 million solar lights to off-grid families in South Asia and Africa- all paid for up-front, in cash- the latter 1 million customers acquired over the past year. Our products were recognized recently as ‘the best solar lamp’ in the Economist. Uniquely, we sell our life-changing Sun King solar home lights to off-grid families in India and Africa through a massive direct sales force of trusted, village-level sales agents that penetrate deeply into rural markets to promote our products home to home and build trust in our brand at a micro level. Today 5,000 active Saathis bring clean, safe light to
40,000 new off-grid homes each month. We’re now expanding our distribution network from three states to the whole of rural India and East Africa, an under-penetrated market of half a billion emerging consumers. And we are releasing more trustworthy, aspirational products to keep our network busy. Specialties Rural marketing, Solar lighting, India, AfricaWhat you would be expected to do

Deliver classroom and field-based training to staff and agents in the assigned region.
Keep track of set KPIs and achieve training targets as required
Design and deliver training assessments with the guidance of the Training Manager
Help the Training Manager in identifying staff training needs.
Ensure 100% adoption and usage of technology-based work tools by all field staff
Drive consistent & accelerated learning performance through data tools
Communication of policies, training updates & changes to assigned region
Collect and give feedback on the implementation new tools, products, and processes
Run the administration of knowledge-based platforms
Drive agent engagement & lesson completion via the learning management system
Facilitate and ensure effective delivery of 90-day induction and mentorship for field-based staff in the assigned region
Help with the development and improvement of training materials and concepts

You might be a strong candidate if you

Have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or any related field with at least 2 years of experience in training and coaching; preferably in the areas of sales, customer services or marketing.
Are knowledgeable about Learning Management Systems
Can conceptualize and develop a conducive learning environment
Portray diligence, accuracy, reliability and focused
Are proficiently skilled in Microsoft office and other visualization tools
Possess excellent people-person, communication and problem-solving skills
Have good planning and organizing ability, are self motivated and able to work under minimal supervision with the flexibility to travel frequently to remote areas
Are passionate about working with rural, off-grid consumers and resolving their issues.
