- Market Development & Revenue Achievement: Design and implement strategic sales plans aimed at achieving company objectives and driving revenue growth within the East Africa market.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with
- key clients and stakeholders, gaining insights into their business challenges and
- providing value-driven solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product development and customer
- success teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and a seamless customer
- experience.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with potential clients and successfully
- close deals that align with company objectives and profitability goals.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 and upto 12 years in B2B technology sales, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth. Established network of C-suite relationships within the BFSI sector in East Africa is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Operations & Technology, Health Insurance, Underwriting & Customer Onboarding processes in Insurance related environment
- Technical Knowledge: An understanding of technology products and services, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with
- the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter: With a geographically team that delivers on business outcomes, this role requires the ability to be a “self-starter” and operate in independent manner and a willingness to act as an “entrepreneur” as we look to set up and grow the Insurance business in the region
