Salary: 40,000 + commissionSummaryOur client is looking to hire a corporate tele-sales executive. The position is based in Nairobi and it involves sales and marketing of in-person training courses in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia & Malawi. 95% of the work will be on tele-sales/ telephone marketing the training services to potential clients. The ideal candidate for this position is a dynamic, creative, and innovative marketing and sales professional with 2 years work experience and proven track record in B to B corporate training marketing and sales.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy to increase sales volumes, like coming up with creative ideas to increase revenue and achieve the set sales targets.
  • Preparation of weekly sales activities and route plans and presenting them to the team lead.
  • Research, Identify and secure new clients or marketing opportunities from the assigned regions.
  • Cold calling to arrange for meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Maintain all clients through proactive communication with the client and ensuring that all queries, complains are promptly attended to.
  • Managing referrals, conduct customer follow-up
  • Analyzing the market environment i.e. analyzing other competitor's prices, the amount of demand and supply in the market.
  • To support, maintain and grow business contacts with both the existing and potential advertising clients
  • Develop strategy to increase sales volumes, like coming up with creative ideas to increase revenue.
Requirements
  • Diploma in sales & marketing or related field.
  • Experience in sales and marketing of corporate training services is a MUST for this position
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets
  • Must be a strong “people person” with excellent communication and presentation skills; a positive, persuasive personality.
  • Passionate about sales and marketing with consistently exceeding sales targets and growing the business in their previous position.
  • Highly self-confident, with excellent communication skills, is a critical thinker, highly organised and has pleasant telephone voice, manners and personality to engage clients and takes pride in their work performance
