
Qualitative Research Specialist at University of Nairobi

- To recruit study participants and collect qualitative and quantitative data.
- Operationalize study SOPs on site activation, data extraction, participant recruitment, and data collection
- Ensure compliance to study protocol and institutional guidelines
- Implement study activities including community engagement, information giving on obtaining informed consent and sample collection
- Maintaining accurate records of research procedures, results, and observations
- Provide study team with regular feedback on study activities
- Participate in regular team calls and meetings
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with clinical research experience; or
- Bachelor's degree in clinical health sciences with clinical research experience; or
- Master's degree in medical humanities (e.g., sociology, anthropology, health economics); or
- Diploma in Health Professions with at least three (3) years' experience in infectious diseases (HIV, TB) or NCD prevention and care.
