Rather, we aim to help create the infrastructure – the living and working spaces, communities, schools and hospitals – that will help sustain and accelerate Africa's economic growth, meet the aspirations of Africa's burgeoning middle classes, and serve as a catalyst for further urban development.Accounts Receivables AccountantReporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and reconciliations. The role includes managing direct reports and reporting directly to the Financial Controller.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model in compliance with IFRS9, ensuring accurate assessment and reporting of credit risk.
  • Supervise and mentor the AR team, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of customer invoices and issuance of customer account statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer account records and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports and aging analysis for management review.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR.
  • Ensure all receivables transactions comply with tax laws and internal financial policies.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation related to AR.
  • Continuously improve AR processes and automation and contribute to finance team initiatives.
RequirementsSkills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an accounts receivable role.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of AR processes and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, SAGE 300 experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Fixed Asset and Inventory ControllerKey Responsibilities
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Coordinate physical verification of assets and reconcile with accounting records.
  • Ensure compliance with capitalization policies and accounting standards.
  • Oversee inventory tracking systems and ensure accurate stock records.
  • Monitor stock movements, conduct periodic stock counts, and investigate variances.
  • Ensure proper valuation of inventory in line with accounting policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on fixed assets and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies.
  • Support external and internal audits with relevant documentation and reconciliations
  • Supervise project accountants, ensuring accurate tracking of project-related assets and inventory.
  • Review project cost allocations and ensure alignment with budgets and capital expenditure policies.
  • Provide guidance and training to project accountants on asset and inventory procedures.
  • Prepares audit schedules and support audits
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance asset and inventory management systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
RequirementsSkills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in asset and inventory accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and fixed asset accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
  • SAGE experience is an added advantage
Project AccountantThe Project Accountant is responsible for mainly supporting the financial management of construction and real estate projects. This role involves close collaboration with construction project teams to ensure accurate recording of actual expenditures, monitoring of project budgets, and timely identification and reporting of variances. The Project Accountant plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting project delivery through effective cost control and reporting.Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with construction project teams to gather and verify financial data.
  • Ensure all actual project costs are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
  • Monitor project budgets and flag any discrepancies or variances to management
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts for ongoing projects.
  • Support project managers with financial insights and budget tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support project audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all project-related financial transactions.

  • Develop and edit short, engaging video content for social media, websites, and digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and storyboard content that aligns with brand messaging and project goals.
  • Film and edit on-site project footage where required.
  • Support the development of visual content such as reels, behind-the-scenes clips, and project highlights.
  • Manage and organize digital content libraries and assets.
  • Stay up to date with digital trends and recommend innovative approaches to content creation.
Skills and Experience
  • A keen eye for visual storytelling, detail, and brand consistency.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous video and digital content work (link or file must be included with application).
