- Minimum of 5 years' similar work experience, preferably in Professional Services
- Have ERP exposure
- Experience in New Business Sales Executive of SAP Business One, Sage, Syspro, Evolution, Navision and similar ERP's etc.
- Experience with Technical Pre-sales (advantageous) and have a Successful Track Record in Consultative Selling and Target Achievement.
- Experience in New Business Sales for the East Africa Region, specifically: Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia as well as other East African Countries (advantageous)
- Kenya Nationals Only
- Must have a Valid Drivers' License and Own Vehicle
- Must have a Valid Kenyan Passport
- Must be willing for extensive travel
- Constantly Hunting for New Prospects.
- Cold Calling and networking to generate new leads will be a must.
- Close collaboration within house inside Sales team will be necessary.
- It is envisaged that the salesperson will develop the prospect initially remotely from Nairobi office and this will then travel to respective countries to close the deals.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for initial prospect meetings, qualification, solution proposal and closing of deals by building and managing the new business sales pipeline.
- Initial qualifications meetings/follow ups.
- Product and solution demonstrations and presentations
- Preparation of proof of concepts (POC's)
- Preparation of proposals, and responses to: RFP's, RFQ's, expression of Interest, Tenders.
- Follow up meetings and negotiation.
- Business and Opportunity Development and Deal closure
- Achievement of Region new business sales targets.
- Business Development, Build, mentor and manage the local team.
- Evaluate competitive solutions and vertical markets to refine the ‘go to market' (GTM) product stack.
- Alignment of Proof-of-concept (POC) and customer expectations.
- Maintain CRM records.
- Achievement of branch net-new-names target.
- Achievement of individual net-new-name and added value target.
