  • Leadership and Reporting: Report directly to the Africa Cluster Lead, providing strategic insights and updates on project progress and challenges.
  • Comprehensive Project Management: Oversee the full spectrum of project activities, ensuring successful delivery across various project types, including small move projects and significant capital investments. Utilize a strong understanding of Project Management and Performance KPIs to drive project success.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and refine client briefs and Project Execution Plans. Facilitate effective coordination with trades such as IT, Facilities Management, and Security to meet project objectives. Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Design and Compliance Oversight: Lead design management initiatives, ensuring solutions align with client expectations and adhere to budget constraints. Manage compliance with local government approvals and contractual obligations.
  • Schedule and Documentation Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules and trackers. Ensure rigorous document assurance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contract Administration: Administer complex contracts, ensuring adherence to terms by contractors and consultants. Lead tender preparation, evaluation, and contract negotiations.
  • Risk and Quality Management: Deliver projects within risk, sustainability, and environmental frameworks, maintaining a strong focus on time, cost, and quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in managing the delivery of fit-out projects in the region, with a minimum of 6 to 8 years in the Middle East. Previous experience working in the GCC or MENA region is a must.
  • Educational Background: An engineering background is preferred and will be a key consideration in the hiring process. Degree qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Adaptive Works is essential.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal skills with fluent proficiency in English.
  • Additional Qualifications: International safety qualification/recognition and professional memberships are advantageous but not essential.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
