
Credit Assessor at Sun King (Formerly Greenlight Planet)

- The holder of this role will ensure that only creditworthy clients are approved for our high-value solar products through the Pay-As-You-Go (PayGo) financing model. He/ She work will play a key role in upholding our credit standards by thoroughly assessing client eligibility, verifying backend tickets, and ensuring customers are well informed.
- Prospect Client Verification Calls. Approves or rejects prospects.
- Decision-Making. Based on client feedback, approve or reject the prospect's eligibility for product issuance.
- Backend Verification Tickets. Ensuring Installations, Payment confirmation, and Document verification are done correctly..
- Customer Issue Escalation. Address questions and concerns raised by clients during calls and escalate unresolved or urgent issues to the relevant departments.
- CRM and Systems Management. Accurately log interactions, update progress, and navigate multiple tabs and tools (CRM systems, call platforms, photo review portals) simultaneously.
- Possess a diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
- Have at least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, credit vetting, or call center operations. Experience in solar/asset financing is a plus.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Have strong people relations and decision-making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess verbal cues and establish creditworthiness.
- Are flexible to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Have the ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple systems and screens simultaneously.
- Are proficient in using CRM tools, call center platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
