ROLE PURPOSE
  • The Office Assistant/ Cleaner is reliable, detail oriented, ensuring the company offices are well maintained and organized among other roles as listed below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the Offices and other areas under which the company operates are clean including washrooms.
  • Dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, shelves, and other office fittings.
  • Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required.
  • Emptying waste bins and taking waste materials to the designated collection points.
  • Make soft beverages/tea for the office staff, visitors and guests.
  • Ensure all utensils are clean.
  • Responding to inquiries from customers and visitors.
  • Trustworthy and undertake budget and shopping for office supplies.
  • Report any office machine and equipment faults, i.e tables, fridges, microwaves, and water kettles.
  • Assist in photocopying, binding, and filing of office documents.
  • Any other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Diploma/ Certificate in hospitality management or related course is a plus (but not mandatory) Must have a KCSE certificate.
  • At least two years of experience as an office assistant.
  • Must be able to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent team player and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner.
