- Schedule and coordinate language services appointments, optimizing resources based on skillset, location, and client needs.
- Ensuring clear and prompt communication with our clients and interpreters in relation to their assigned or requested appointments.
- Track appointment fulfilment and manage changes or cancellations as they arise.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of interpreter assignments for client appointments, ensuring accurate matching of interpreter skills and qualifications to client needs.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in the scheduling database
- Provide support to interpreters on any issues related to assignments, travel, and work requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in scheduling coordination or customer service
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven experience in interpreting services, scheduling coordination, or language access.
- Time management skills including meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, interpreters, and internal teams.
